About
1217 coloring pages across 21 families — patterns generated from a seed, subjects drawn by an image model, all of them measured before publishing.
The problem this site exists for
Printable coloring pages fail in one specific way. Somewhere on the page — usually the centre of something intricate — there is an area too small to get a pencil into. On screen it reads as detail. On paper it is a sliver that cannot be colored, and whoever is holding the pencil just skips it.
It happens because pages are published by eye. Nobody measures.
What we do instead
Patterns come from a program and a seed number; subjects — the unicorns, dinosaurs and cats — are drawn by an image model from a written description. Either way the page then goes through the same check: it is drawn at print size and analysed, every enclosed area is found, and the largest circle that fits inside the smallest one is measured. That number goes on the page. A design that misses its difficulty's rule — 4.5 mm for easy, down to 1.9 mm for intricate — is thrown away and another is made. That is only affordable because nothing here is drawn by hand: discarding a page costs a fraction of a second, or a fraction of a cent.
What that means for you
Two things nothing else in this category offers. Every page states how small its smallest area is, so you can tell before printing whether it suits a five-year-old or a steady adult hand. And when none of the published pages is quite right, you can generate another one, with the same check running in your browser.
